Travelling a little further afield, you can reach the popular coastal resort of Scarborough. For fabulous food shopping and delicious local produce head to Malton, known as Yorkshire's food capital. The town also hosts the annual Food Lovers Festival with cookery demonstrations, family entertainment, lots of food stalls and plenty more.
